Question:
Anybody else out there at just about one year post-op, suddenly hungry all the time?

I am at one year post-op and definitely hungry a little more often than I
wish. I also have to really watch the grazing, snacking, carbs and sugars.
This is where the work begins. The first 9-10 months were so easy, the
weight just fell off and I ate well, but basically whatever amount I
wanted. Now, if I want to continue the loss or even maintain, its WORK-
exercise, water, protein, cut down on the snacking. Oh, well, guess its a
small price to pay for being healthy and normal sized.

Oh THANK YOU for posting this! I'm 16 months post op and I've been just
eating like a PIG lately. Not so much as snacking and grazing, but the SIZE
of a meal has definately gone up. I don't even feel full after eating a
salad and a whole chicken breast in ONE sitting. Then about 2 hours later,
I'm feeling hungry. I'm really worried about this! If I do eat, I'm trying
to make it a protien snack but still, it is eating, isn't it?

I am getting a lot youngrier now too at 13 months post op. I think that it
is time to really put our willpower into control, but most of all I think
it's time to really get into a good support group with other post opers, if
nothing else with Overeaters groups or even Weighwatchers or anything. I
feel like now that is what I really needed when I was gaining all my weight
before surgery. I don't really know why we get hungrier after a while, I
think it's got to be relaxing of the stomach and stoma, so hang in there,
i'm hungrier to..but have only 30 more pounds to goal I was 347 am now 160
and you will make it too.Beat of luck to you.

Yes, ME! But I have enough sense to know that to revert back
wards would be total disaster and the end of feeling and looking good! How
do you "tame" the wild beast? Hadiyah, a.k.a.~~
