the W on women's clothes stand for Women. They are cut alittle fuller than
regular and junior or teen clothes come in odd sizes like 11 or 13. Then
you probley know that the P on womens clothes stand for petite, which is
made alittle shorter and smaller.

I found that when I wore a 16W from the plus size department, I was about
an 18 in the "regular" department.

Just went shopping at Macy's recently and I'm a 16 Misses and a 14W
(Womens). I bought jeans in both departments and they fit the same. So it
looks like if you're say an 18 Misses, you'll be a 16W. Hugs, Joy
