Question:
Has anyone received benefits from the class action suit? Tell us something about it,
I still need to see a cardiologist to get the gray form filled out. Any info will be appreciated. — Kathy L. H. (posted on January 4, 2003)

I work for a cardiologist and we have done quite a few eams for the
Phen-Fen drug settlement. The grey form that you are referring to all
needed to be in no later then January 3 along with a report and tape of the
echocardiogram. This has been going on for several years. I do believe that
it is too late if you haven't gotten it in yet. The settlement company
usually gives a list of the cardiologists that are close to you and will
let you pick one. Once you call and make the appointment and notify them as
to when it is going to be, then they fax the paperwork straight to the
doctor's office. Only once did I have a patient bring in their own grey
form and that was recently when they were beating the deadline. I would
call immediately to your contact number, if you do not have a contact
number then it is definitely too late.

I had a free echocardiogram done about 18 months ago that came out normal.
Although, that's all I've received. I don't really care if I get anything
else, I was just glad to hear that the results were normal.
