Question:
Which labs should be run at six months?
This will be the first labs I have had run since surgery on July 3, 2002. My PCP is not familiar with WLS and won't know what to order unless I can provide info. — Geri M. (posted on December 22, 2002)

My surgeon asks that his RNY patients have a CBC, complete metabolic panel,
serum iron, and serum B12 drawn at 6 months post-op; then yearly after
that.
