Question:
will empire health choice cover the surgery?

hi i am 5'5 and have a bmi of 46, i have back pains as well as knee pains, will i get approved with the surgery and usually how long does it take to get approved. also =) can someone please tell me all the tests that have to be done before surgery?    — Shorty S. (posted on December 21, 2002)

I have this same insurance and they have come a long way since mt surgery last year. I went through 2 denials and then won on the 3rd appeal. Since then several people I work with have gotten approval on the first try. I had little or no health problems so they really needed more info. Flood them with as much as you can. A personal letter never hurts either. Good Luck and keep me posted!! K
