Like what??? Food??? You should be doing about 600-800 calories a day (I still fail on this point, ending up at 500-600 most days). You should do protein first, but some carbs and fats are needed in your diet too. <p> As far as vitamins, besides your multi-vitamin, you should either be taking 500 mcg of B-12 sublingually daily or 1000 mcg IM monthly. You should also be taking calcium citrate, iron, and folic acid (the last two are especially important to the female post-ops)...JR (open RNY 07/17 -114 pounds)

Lisa, check with your nutrionist of dtr, But, I think your caloric intake should be higher than 600-900 calories.
