Hi Robert, I've lost 110 lbs as of today with my DS, I'm about 8.5 months post-op and I started as a "light-weight" at 270lbs for 5'7" (the light-weight thing always makes me laugh) I'm very, very happy with my wieght loss and with the DS. Hope this helps....Diane PS: I'm still loosing and only 25 lbs from my ultimate goal..:0)

Hi Robert I had my open DS October 21 2002 and i have already lost 42lbs and still loosing and i feel wonderfull everyday.
