Question:
I'm 5'2
My insurance now doesn't pay for WLS. I'll be switching to CIGNA PPO in Jan. 2003. I live in OHIO. I am wondering just in everyones opinion, what are my chances for qualifying for surgery? Thanks so much to everyone here. Melissa — blank first name B. (posted on November 13, 2002)

It depends on your insurance carrier. Usually, it's bmi greater than 40, or
greater than 35 with comorbidities--hypertension, gerd, diabetes,
arthritis, incontinence, etc.
Good luck!
