Question:
Has anyone developed boils after WLS and their tummy?

My aunt said she has two friends who have had WLS, one Lap and one Open RYN. Both got boils on their tummys. Has anyone else had this happen?    — Rhonda H. (posted on November 5, 2002)

I did have them in the fold on my lower abdomen. I have pretty much learned to control them. Minor side effect related to the surgery. I am hoping to get a TT soon to help prevent them even more.

I am preop hoping for Jan surg date,and I get those sounds like staff infection.

I have had 2 in my vaginal area since surgery, I don't know if they are surgery related but I never had them before.
