Question:
Is there a bigger problem with my vomitting?
I am 1 month out of rny surgery...Originally everything went well...I have been on semi solid foods (chew chew chew) for about two weeks...my problem is that in the past few days i haven't really been able to keep much down...I take three pills in the morning...then i have to wait to drink anything....when i do drink something...i feel full even after a sip...then i'll wait to have my breakfast..i eat my breakfast slowly and make sure i chew everything well..i usually can't finish my breakfast and i get a tight and uncomfortable feeling in my chest and back...it seems that the only way to make it go away is to force myself to vomit... it's the same for lunch...by dinner...it goes away and i can eat comfortably... is this normal? am i doing something seriously wrong or is there a bigger problem? — Becca P. Becca..omg this sounds just like me..today is my 1 month...I also take 3
pills in the am and as far as breakfast and lunch go..I have a very
difficult time..but as the evening comes..I can feel myself getting hungry
and when I do eat...things stay put and I feel really good...but during the
day it's a different story. I just came home and ate some very soft pieces
of chicken and well...there came that horrible feeling in my chest and back
up it came. I am very interested to hear if anyone else suffers this.
Becca, feel free to email me if you want to chat more about this.

laying down will help alleviate the nausea and discomfort.
Also taking the pills after you eat or while eating, not before you eat, if
you can. I'd try to stagger taking the pills if it were me, that is, if
they are large or regular size capsules. Anyway, taking the pills on top
of food will allow them a chance to begin to dissolve and they'll go down
easier. It works for me.

Hi I was wondering do you cut up your pils in the mornign and take them
about 5 minutes apart to let them go down easily. they could be have a hard
time dissolving quickly adn they could be just laying in your pouch for a
ver ylong time and it has taken them all day to disolve for the most part
to be able to go down well. Thats why you start feeling better in the after
noon. I would eat first too and make sure they are small or cut them to be
smaller. And not to make you sound stupid or anything but are you taking
them at one time like boom boom boom maybe that is it too if the pills are
to big. Hope this helps. I was told to take a pill put it in a glass of
water and if it didn't disolve with in like 5 minutes to cut it up or try
to find a more disolvable type pill. Hope this helps and good luck.
