Question:
Need to find a Dr who accepts PHCS PPO Contracts

I have changed Insurers and I Have PHCS PPO, and I have Read that most Drs want you to pay upfront and get paid back by Ins Co. This Is an Impossibility. I called one Dr in Wildomar and was told that I have to Pay all costs Up front. Are all Dr's This way,If anyone can help me find a Dr who accepts the Contracted amt this would help me. I am lost at this time. My PCP sent LMN to old ins Now I have to "transist" to new one and start again.    — suzznn (posted on September 23, 2002)

i have phcs ppo and i did not need a referral you may want to check with your insurance company and they paid all of my surgery cost except for 250.00 i am 3 weeks post op and i live in columbus ohio so i went to a doctor in middletown ohio his clinic is www.surgicalweightloss.com i don't know where you live but check with your doctors nursing staff they may be able to give you some names on who to call about having this done good luck
