Question:
How much weight at one month?
How much weight has everyone lost at one month post-op? My book says 25% loss at three months, I have already lost almost that much at one month, is that normal? I'm afraid I'm going to loose quick right away then stop. Thanks already for the wonderful responses I always get. — leeann N. (posted on September 9, 2002)

hey there i never really heard of losing 25% of your weihgt at three months
but i started at 345 and my goal was to be 190 so that left with with
having to loose 155. in my first month i lost 35 pounds and if my
calculations are right then that means that i should have only lost 38.75
pounds in three month but instead i lost 56 pounds and i personally think
that it should have been more than 56 pounds in three months i compared
myself to others but i dont do that any more. i will be 7 month post op on
the 26th and as of today i am down 83 pounds check out my profile and see
for youself i have a weekly chart and i update often unlike others. i
truley think you will enjoy following my journey and while you're at it
show me some love and sign my guess book, also i have readjusted my goal to
225 then i will go for my tummy tuck and breast lift i just think that i
will be too small at 190 and then having reconstructive surgery puttting me
down to 170 or so im big boned and tall 5'10

Let's see, my first month I lost 34 pounds. Second month I lost 9 pounds.
Third month I lost 16 pounds. Fourth month I lost 12 pounds. I've already
lost over 50% of my "Excess Body Weight" and I'm 10 pounds away
from losing 30% of my "Initial Body Weight." Not bad for 4
months!!! Good luck to you on your journey. :o)
