Hon, dont panic, we all flucutate in weight a couple of pnds. Its probably
water retention. Just follow your Drs orders and you will be fine. Good
Luck

DON"T PANIC!!!! You could have some swelling or water retention
causing the weight gain. Get you some mild water pill and take one (be sure
to drink plenty so you don't dehydrate). Also your body may be using some
of your stored calories because it is "Starving" and be causing
some fluctuation in the weight by a pound or two. Don't worry, you will
lose.

I had this problem too---I was eating canned soups alot--then I checked the
sodium levels--they were out of sight---check your sodium on your
food---might cause you to retain water---

Cherice, this happened to me a couple of times. Shocked the crap out of me
when I looked at the scale in disbelief! But in afew days it will go away
with more too. Its just the body's way of reacting to this extreme weight
loss. Be prepared for a plateau right about now. The first one hits at
3-4 weeks for many and can last several weeks-just continue eating your
protein first, getting in enough nutrition, water and vitamins and it'll
pick up again.

Hi Cherice,
Don't worry like the others said. This won't be the first and last time
this will happen. I go through this every month, and I am 6 months post
op. I gain a few pounds when I start menstruating, spend a week losing the
gained weight, and then lose more weight over the next 2-3 weeks. Then
it's a vicious cycle all over again. So, you may gain a few pounds here or
there for various reasons, just be sure to stick with your diet and drink
pleny of fluids - it will come off!
