Does anyone know of a Laproscopic Surgeon in Nashville, Memphis, or anywhere close

Hello. I am 2 years postop open rny still holding strong at 155-160lbs loss (it just varies). My mother is starting to research the surgery for herself but feels that she would rather have the laproscopic instead of open. I told her that I would see if I could find out anything about Doctors nearby. We live in Western Ky, so if you know the names of anyone close by, please inform me. Thanks    — Kelly P. Centennial Medical Center In Nashville has a wonderful program. The doctors there are associated with the same place in San Diego that started the Lap style of WLS. The phone number is (615)342-1231. . Surgeons are Olsen and Dyers. Nurse coordinator is Pam.

Dr. Proctor is in Gainesville Georgia. (North Ga) He has a very good reputation and does Lap surgery

Dr Alston in Memphis does Lapo RNY.....he is pretty far backed up though. I didn't use him, but was going to at one time. Good Luck

My doctor's name is Dr. George Woodman and he does laproscopic in Memphis at Baptist East. His number is (901) 869-2000. He and the staff are super great!

Hello. Dr. John Husted at Cumberland Center for Obesity Surgery here in Nashville, TN is an excellent WLS surgeon (he performed my BPD/DS). He now offers WLS surgery via lap. His office number is 615-284-7960. He obviously loves what he does and offers a free seminar to explain what is involved (procedures, risks, expectations). I highly recommend him.
