ARE WE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE AFTER RNY SURGERY. I KNOW THERE WAS A LIST, WITH ALEVE, IBUPORFEN ETC ON IT, IF ANYONE HAS THIS LIST, PLEASE SHARE IT WILL ME OR SEND IT TO ME, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT SO VERY MUCH.    — Gale G. (posted on August 23, 2002)

In my class they said to stick with Tylenol for pain relief. The other typical over the counter can cause stomach irritation. Otherwise my packet doesn't say anyhting else except to be carefeul that pills are small (not long) since they can get stuck. Also, no time released medications after surgery.
