For those who've had an under arm lift...

For those who've had an under arm lift...did you also need to be lifted down your side as well....where your bra sits...If so, what kind of incision do you have? Thanks so much for your time.    — Jennifer M. (posted on August 21, 2002)

My doctor is doing my arms in 2 procedures. He just did liposuction on my upper arms 2 weeks ago. This sucked a LOT of fat out of them (250cc or a can of pop) from each arm. In November, he will finish the surgery by pulling all the excess skin as tight as he can and cutting it off with an incision under my armpit that will extend a couple of inches past my armpit. There will only be an incision under the armpit where the hair grows. Due to this incision, hair will never grow under my armpit again. Plus, I won't have that horrible elbow to armpit scar inside each of my arms.
