Question:
I know that we're not suppose to have Vitamin E before surgery but...

I was told to get sugar free bugs bunny chewable vitamins and start taking them 2 weeks before surgery because that is what I'll be taking after surgery. But they asked us not to take vitamin E I guess because it interferes with anestesia but the bugs bunny chewable vitamins contain vitamin E. Help! I am confused. Is there a certain type of bugs bunny sugar free vits that don't contain vitamin E that I should have gotten? Thanks you guys!    — Samar M. (posted on August 19, 2002)

I too was worried about this so I called my nutritionist and she told me I was not to buy Vitamin E tablets and take them alone and that it was ok that the Bugs Bunny Vitamins contained trace amounts.
