Question:
I sometimes have what feels like an air bubble stuck in or just above pouch.
Sometimes forcing my self to burp helps, but sometimes it doesnt work and I end up throwing up. Help? — ralph76 (posted on August 11, 2002)

Hi, I've had a problem with that in the past, too. I know that it's a
horrible feeling. I suggest trying to slow down while eating and taking
smaller bites. I've always been a fast eater and every time I caught myself
slipping into the old habit of eating that way, I would get the same exact
symptoms you describe. I haven't had the problem since I've gotten in the
habit of slowing down and chewing better. Hope this helps, good luck!

Hi Tim! I don't know how far out you are (checked your proile, but it
doesn't say), but I can tell you that I am 15.5 weeks post-op and this
still happens to me. I happened much more early on, but I just happened to
have the happen to me today. I find that this happens if I eat too fast.
Try slowing down and taking smaller bites and you will find that this will
happen less often as time goes on. Also, this happens to me big-time with
soda. I need to de-fizz soda or it makes me feel terrible. Hope this
help...Good luck!
