Are we able to have MRI's after RNY

Yep no problem. Staples are titanium and thus non magnetic. Although going thru airport security wand vcheck they will set it off. So will magnetic ink in candy wrappers the wands are extremely sensitive.

I agree with Bob, you should be able to have an MRI. No problem.
