Has anyone heard about this?

I just thought it was interesting and wondered if anyone else had heard that "HEART singer Ann Wilson lost 50 pounds after undergoing surgery to place a "Lap-Band" belt around her stomach to reduce food intake, her doctors said. Yes, I read about it yesterday on a yahoo entertainment thingie! I know she has battled with her weight for years so this was probably a great thing for her, being a single mother of two children, too! She rocks!

I didn't know that! I'm so happy for her. I was hoping she would have WLS. I'm so tired of people trashing her. I had asked a question on their website once and she even personally answered my question. She's a great lady! Thanks for posting the article link.

Yes, I also get the Spotlighthealth.com newsletter & received the link to the story of Ann Wilson of HEART getting the LAP BAND surgery in Jan. 2002. That said she's lost about 60 lbs. or so now. I have always LOVED Ann Wilson, I think she's so beautiful, I wanted to be just like her for a while. I'm really glad she finally did something to make herself feel even more beautiful.
