Question:
I think I will have teh vbgf wondering how much weight was lost.
I think I will have the vbg wondering how much weight was lost over a certain time period. I was thinking about the bypass, but the side effect and post-op problems is leading me to have the vbg. Any feedback would be appreicated! — mari C. (posted on July 15, 2002)

I thought about the VBGF but found a high rate of problems and people
having them replaced with RNY's. One friend of mine just had her band
removed. It had been too tight and she could not afford to have it fixed.
She suffered on soft foods for 12 years of hell. Maybe it is right for
some people, but I feel more comfortable with the RNY for me.
