Hi, Dr. Reines used to be at the Bariatric Treatment Center where I had my surgery. As a matter of fact, I had my initial consultation with him but then he moved to VA! He is VERY knowledgeable man with a kind bedside manner. He was the head of the program here and is held in very high regard. I was left in excellent care by his partner at the time, Dr. Thayer. Dr Reines did my surgery at Newton Wellesley Hospital outside of Boston On june 21, 2001...He is one of the best surgeons I have ever seen..I work also in the OR of Boston medical Center here in Boston. He is a great surgeon and one really nice man. I cannot say enough about him and the practice he had here in MA. He moved to Fairfax VA to be close to his wife. She is a reporter for CNN (?) covering the Supreme Court. You will be truly blessed if you have him for your surgeon.
