Question:
Has any one had dizziness post-op?

I am 11 weeks post op. I had surgery on 4-01-02. I am down 57 lbs from 314 and for the past few weeks I have been getting dizzy when I stand up fast or some mornings when I get out of bed. I feel as though I will pass out. I try to get in all my liquids everyday and I eat well and I take my vitamins and b12. Is this normal? Thanks a bunch....    — jamie C. (posted on June 11, 2002)

Just to tell you what my doctor told me. I also had dizzy spells and he told me to drink Pedialyte. So I drink a cup of it a day and I no long have my spells. It worked wonders for me. I get the fruit flavor because it is the only one that I can handle the taste of. You should still ask your doctor but I know that this has worked for me.

Are you on blood pressure meds? They may need to be adjusted.
