Question:
Has anyone gone to Mexico?

Hi. I'm pre-op but eventually that will be where I'll be going for my RNY. In fact, in less than two weeks I'm having an abdominoplasty with lipo done down there. The costs are SIGNIFICANTLY lower even with all the other expenses (travel, lodging, etc). There are some really great doctors down there. Their medical standards are very high and they offer excellent care. Many doctors specifically cater to us english-only speaking Americans. The staff members seem less rushed and very friendly. And for those of us who don't have insurance coverage, its an excellent option. By the way, check out the library. There are some folks who speak highly of their experiences with having their RNYs done in Mexico.
