Question:
Not a question, but an update on the death of Debra Howeth
I just wanted to let everyone know that I attended Debra's funeral today.I went to church this morning and come to find out my cousins where also attending her funeral, I did not realize it but Debra's family and mine where friends when she was growing up, I don't remember but as smaller children we all played together. It was so comforting to know that Debra was a christian. She touched so many lives. She had twin girls age 11. Her family was close and loved each other dearly, they will miss her, but also know she is in heaven with our wonderful father. I questioned having the surgery when I read about Debra's death, then Jesus spoke to me thru a dear friend and said he is in control our my life, only he knows when my time is. I can not be afraid, if it's my time then it's my time. I prayed long ago when I started this journey for WLS and prayed if it is his will for me to have this surgery than let everything go smooth, and it has been very smooth. Debra died of a massive heart attack, as far as the family knows it was NOT from the surgery. I will go forth with my surgery. By the way I signed the guest book from Myself and all her AMOS friends. God bless you all. — Lisa W. (posted on May 27, 2002)

My thoughts are with all of Debra's family. Perhaps it may not help, but
she was trying to improve her life. Now, she is where her life is perfect.
My condolences to all of her loved ones. Blessings to all. Donna in AL
