Hi Kate, I did a little research for you on the insurers page. If you follow the links on that page you will find a lot of insurance information for your state. Members have listed their insurance companies along with approval/denial info and other general information. Here is the page that will interest you http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/insurers2.phtml?State=MI&Page=8 scroll down to the bottom and you will find several listings for your insurance company with several approvals.
