Question:
Does any body know if they need you to belong to 6 month diet program

I have been to a program back 1990,1991 under doctors direction. Do they want that to be recently or it should not matter when it was as long as I have medical records to prove it.    — sheri B. (posted on May 5, 2002)

This depends on your insurance company--BCBS of Fl requires a dr supervised diet for 12 months prior to surgery--but with my understanding including my battle with them---this is only required of some individuals depending on the doctor you use---I have to have one---6 friends who used another dr did not--go figure Linda
