Question:
Has anyone had lap surgery by Dr.Quinlin in Pittburgh

I have appointment with DR.Quinlin in Aug. 16. My question I haved 1 c-section and a tummy tuck several years ago. Does anyone know if he would have a problem doing a lap procedure on me with these previous surgeries. I was denied by Dr.Hamad because of this reason. When I made appoinment I asked, but they said I had to wait for my consult.I hate to wait only to find out I can only get a open.I can get appointment by a doc. that only does open next week, but I really don't want a big scar.    — christine H. i'm not sure about dr. Quinlin, but i'm having lap surgery (hopefully) performed by dr. schauer in pittsburgh on july 15, and i've had 2 c-sections and he doesn't seem to expect a problem. I was informed that numerous abdominal surgeries may pose a problem for lap, but 1 or 2 should be o.k........maybe the tummy tuck leaves more scar tissue than the c-sections? i'm not sure, but best of luck to you.
