Question:
I have had this distorted sense of taste and smell for a year and I am pre-op.

This is really a question for a Dr. They may need to get to the cause of your problem before surgery. Good luck

I also have a super bionic sense of smell after surgery (post op one month). I've had this before after having my gallbladder out and during bouts of pancreatitis. It's related to naseau. I tend to not have as much naseau as others but things do smell worse to me.
