Question:
Has anyone every had drainage AND bubbles

come from where the drain tube was?? The bubbleing, without a bandage is loud and wierd looking. We called the Dr., he just said put a dressing on it, okay, we felt stupid. Has anyone ever had this happen?? 7 days post-op, one day home from hospital.    — Chris M. (posted on March 12, 2002)

Completely normal! Thats very common, keep a dressing on it so your clothes dont get yucky. Only be concerned if the drainage gets pussy looking or smells of infection, iin which case call you doc. In a few days it will heal up. Relax your fine.
