Question:
About 30 minutes after I eat i get a bloated feeling in my stomach.
I feel like I have to burp but cant. This uncomfortable feeling last for about 1 hour. Sometimes it will make me throw up but all that comes up is white bubbles. Is this normal? Is there anything that I can take to stop this? It is making it where I am afraid to eat at all. Thanks — Michelle Y. (posted on January 24, 2002)

sometimes this happens when you eat too fast. Take things slow and easy.
and remember to chew, chew , chew. If you swallow big chunks this will
happen. Best of luck

What kinds of foods? All foods? Milk products? The other thought is volume.
If you had a one oz pouch, how much more than one oz are you putting in
there? Foaming usually indicates that the saliva is not going down. Also,
when something is stuck, the body produces even more saliva to help it
along, so perhaps too much, or too fast, or the wrong thing. If you are
eating an oz, no milk and not fast, you'll need to call your doc and get an
eyeball down in there to check it out.

*****Update to question****
Well it doesnt matter what I eat, how much I eat, how fast I eat or if I
wait to drink an hour after I eat. I still feel this way. I have tried
everything.

My doc wants his patients to be done eating any meal in 20 minutes, max.
After that, he says we reinforce the "grazing" habit that has
made obesity even harder to combat.
