Question:
has anyone had this surgery that has Qual Choice or Southern Health?

yes i had the sugery on sept 5 in ohio they were very easy to work with aproval took 2 weeks they coverd the entier cost the doctors young ladies did all the paper work and were very efficient i am glad idid it my sugar cleard up off all meds for sugar and had some other medications reduced very little pain i have lost 125 and feel great ted

Hi there. I had QualChoice and was denied my first time. They said because I had a history of depression that I wasn't mentally prepared for surgery. I fought them and got all my doctors including my therapist to write letters and wrote a big long appeal letter and called every day. I was approved on appeal and had surgery November 26, 2001. They can be a pain sometimes but hang in there and call call call. Don't give up and it won't be a problem. Good Luck and God Bless.
