From the time my primary physician gave me my referral to see the surgeon
to my actual surgery date took about 6.5 to 7 months.

For me it was 3 1/2 months-end of September to the beginning of January.

I noticed you asked about Kaiser. The responses were not Kaiser.
I have Kaiser North. It is a long wait but I hear they are changing. I am
scheduled in Feb. I started process in May 2002. Longest part was waiting
for approval. this took 4 months. then I had to find an orientation; this
took 1 month ( they did not give info out about that). Then another 2
months for a consult and 2 months for scheduling from date of consult with
surgeon.
As I said I hear they are changing now. the approval process is much
shorter..Good Luck
