Question:
For anyone having surgery at UC Davis,What was your BMI befor surgery?

I would like to know what other patents BMI was before surgery at UC Davis, and if you were told you had to lose weight befor surgery. I was told to lose 40lbs befor I could even be seen by the Doc.I dont know if my PCP should refer me again, befor I finish losing the 40lbs.As of today I have lost 10lbs of it since July 2000.I was told to lose the 40lbs by Oct. 2000.It is now Jan.2001.My weight to date is 469 and I am 5ft 8in.
