Question:
I am 10 months Post-op and have had Diarrhea for one week now.
I am drinking my water, and taking my protein and vitamins as well as my calcium. I feel fine and have No pain anywhere, eating is no problem, but I am gasy when I sit to use the bathroom and it comes out like water. I am eating solids too but it seems to go right through me. Could it be stress induced? I am home all day, everyday, caring for my dying Mother in law and then dealing with a 5 and 6 yr old, then a hubby who won't deal with his own mother but has a "life" out of the home. I am very frustrated, and angry with alot but I don't want to go to my Dr. for this when other then the gas and diarrhea, I feel fine. Any suggestions? [email protected] — Dayana E. S. I admire you for taking care of your dying mother in law and taking care of
children and a husband (if he is like mine, he's just a BIG child)! When I
get really upset and stressed out it manifests rectally. Just keep pumping
in the fluids and I hope it passes soon. Keep your chin up!

By any chance, have you been taking antibiotics for anything? I had a bad
case of diarrhea a week ago and after blood tests and all sorts of
different calculating, I found out I had been taking antibiotics for too
long. The moment I stopped, the diarrhea stopped. I guess our bodies are
somewhat different now - the antibiotics were stripping some of my white
blood cells (or something like that) and making me sick...I was only
suppose to take them for half the normal period of time rather than the
full. Just throwing an idea out there - not sure if this relates to you or
not. Good luck finding an answer.
