Anyone have any experience with the Texas Star program? (Medicaid)

My family is currently receiving medicaid coverage through HMO Blue Texas Star. Other insurance is not an option for me until sometime mid-2003 when we will be getting group coverage through my husband's job. I am trying to find out if anyone has tried to get wls while on Medicaid in the state of Texas, and what the results were. Thanks for any help!    — Stefanie M. (posted on April 5, 2002)
