Question:
Can someone give me an ins in Utah that covers surgery?

Hi Audrey! I'm pretty sure there are some post-ops there in Utah who have the same insurance as me, Pacific Life and Annuity and it was covered. I am having my lap rny next Wednesday and I was approved in 4 weeks. I'm not sure how you go about getting this insurance, but the good thing was that they didn't require all the pre-surgery stuff that most have to go through. If your surgeon recommends the surgery, it's medically necessary and your BMI is 40 or above, that's it. I wasn't required to provide any proof of dr.-supervised diets (I've never been on one), or anything else. Good luck to you!!
