Question:
Does anyone know of a supportive Kaiser PCP in the Vallejo, Fairfield, Vacaville area

My wife has tried everything to loose wieght (she's about 150 lbs over weight). She has been to Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, on a liquid diet under a doctor's care, weight pills under a doctor's care, tried dial-a-meal and numberous Richard Simmons exercise tapes, and many more. In short, she cannot get the weight off and keep it off. The poor woman is desperate and depressed. We are members of Kaiser health plan, but she is afraid of asking about surgery for fear of being turned down and embarassed. Does anyone know of a Kaiser PCP in the Vallejo, Fairfield, or Vacaville area who would be supportive? Can you offer me any advice as to how I can help her get through this ordeal? I think my Dr.....Joe Flores goes to Vallejo....he was all for my having the surgery as he saw the problems my weight was causing....Good luck...
