Hi Idell, I'm sorry that you are having a rough time with CIGNA. I don't know any local lawyers but there is an obseity lawyer in California who may be able to assist you. His website is www.obesitylaw.com and his name is Walter Lindstrom. He will work with a lawyer in your state if he has to. Some members on this site from various states have used him successfully. Just go to the website and complete the questionnaire and he'll send you info in the mail. I was denied twice and thought I would need him, so I contacted him and he sent me info. The cost is $350 or $750 depending on the level of representation you need. Fortunately, my appeal was approved on the third review. I hope you get your approval soon. All the best.
