healthlink and prucare of southern illinois

has anyone been approved with healthlink ppo and prucare hmo from southern illinois? im waiting for their approval and wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them    — sharon C. (posted on April 28, 2001)

Hi Sharon, while I do not have this insurance, I did some research for you. Go to the "insurers" link at the top of any page and click on Illinois. You will then get an alphabetical listing of insurance companies that members of this site have used and their experiences with them. I scrolled down and found several listings for healthlink and all but one have been approved.(there are actually 2 sections of "healthlink" due to some patients making it two words). Now I only found one listing for prucare and it was under prudential. With each of these listings are the patient comments concerning their dealings with this companies and the patient's e-mail address. Maybe you could e-mail them your specific questions.
