Question:
Weight Loss @ 7 mos Post-op Shouldn't I have lost more?
I had surgery 5/30/00. As of 01/10/01 I weigh 174 lbs. (I am a 28 year old female - 7 mos post op) — Cindy G. (posted on January 10, 2001)

How much did you weigh on 5/30/00? It's hard to say if you should have lost
more with out your start weight :) Keep in mind, we all loose at different
rates.

Hi: I just read your profile and you say that you've lost 70 pounds, so
that would make your starting weight around 250 or a little less. However,
you didn't say how tall you were. The less you need to loose the slower
you will loose it. Sounds like you are losing a good 10 lbs per month and
being steady at doing so. I think that is great. Would you have been able
to do it without the surgery? It'll probably get harder now that I'm sure
your closer to goal. But then like everyone says, add to your excerice.
You'll do great - a 70# loose is nothing to sneeze at!! Good luck.

Hi Cindi,
You are just seven months you will still lose I don't think you are finish.
They give you a two year window. I was told if your pre-op weight was low
you will lose slower. Give yourself sometime.
