Question:
I need to find a doc, but there arent any in my state.

Ive tried looking through other states but the lack of info makes it almost impossible, I live in West VIrginia and i cant find a doc close that does a non-adjustable gastric band, if you come upon something or know something please contact me either here or via e-mail! thanks! Christina, To my knowledge, there are 2 doctors in West Virginia that perform surgery. They are Dr. Bergstein in Morgantown and Dr. Daniel Stickler in Charleston. Dr. Bergstein only performs the open and Dr. Stickler performs both open and lap. I am scheduled for lap surgery with Dr. Stickler on 11/01/00. Good Luck to you!!

Hi I live in Fairmont and am having Dr. Jack Bergstein for open rny on 11/27. He operates out of Ruby Memorial Hospital, in Morgantown, WV. The hospital is affiliated with WVU. I think he is wonderful, very sweet, and caring. He has performs open rny but will be starting to do lap rny soon. His success rate thus far is 100%. Good luck with your search. Dr. Bergstein told me he started doing this surgery here because we don't have anyone else in WV to help us.....the most obese state in the USA. He cares!
