Question:
WHY LIST A SURGEON QUALIFICATION AREA IF NONE OF THEM PROVIDE THE INFO ANYWAY?

You make a good point. There's no doubt that it can be construed as free advertising. But on the other hand, I learned a great deal about my surgeon from people's comments (which I then followed up with personally), and I found that very helpful.
