Question:
Surgery Date 1-20-2000 - Having Extreme Post Op Nausea

My surgery was 1-20-00 and I have been nauseated since surgery. I am now on my 3rd nausea medicine and it still is not working. I am not able to keep water down but have been able to keep hot tea and diluted koolaid down. Does anyone have any suggestions or have you experienced this? i also had a lap gastric bypass on jan 20 via dr macdonald at pitt memorial in greenville,n.c.i never had the nausea that you are describing but now 3 weeks later i have experienced it about 4 times this week ,its from different foods i try or i eat it toooooo fast you MUST CHEW SLOWLY!!!!!!!!I AM LEARNING THE HARD WAY ,i hope you can overcome this. it doesnt sound right having that nausea constantly i would talk to my doctor maybe he can run some tests on you to make sure all is ok.
