Question:
Will a 15cc stomach pouch give better results than a 60cc pouch?
Will I lose more weight and keep it off longer if the stomach pouch is smaller. Will a 60cc pouch be as effective as a smaller pouch? In the future too? Help! — Donna M. (posted on June 4, 1999)

Yes, smaller is better. But the size of the bypass is the most critical.
Staying well nourished and avoiding milk and sugar will help way more than
you realize.

The smaller pouch holds less food, so you will feel full
sooner, and won't have to eat as much, to fill your stomach!
So you do lose weight better, and faster! So far i kept my
weight off, and still losing! I'm glad I don't eat as much!
hope this helps you! Good Luck on your surgery, if you get it!

The smaller the better. All pouches are made to stretch. It is inevitable.
That is why if it starts out to big, by the time it stretches some you may
be able to eat a larger quantity of food. The smaller it starts the smaller
it will be after it has stretched.
