Question:
I have felt like something is stuck about where my ring is.

I hope someone else has had this problem and may be able to elaborate. I am have severe pain about where my stoma ring is. I can't really eat even soft food. Popsicles and drinks even hurt sometimes too, and I stay nauseas. I am wonderin if I need to make an emergency appt. with my doctor. I don't know if the rings shrink or not. Severe pain is always a signal to call your doctor. Better to go in and found out for sure if there is a problem. Hope you feel better soon.

Sometimes there is an erosion near the ring. Definitely requires a call to the surgeon.
