Question:
I'm 6 days post-op and got diarrhea bad today first day.

The same thing happened to me after my open rny in Feb. Lasted about a week actually. Surgeon said it was ok to take Imodium AD and that took care of it. The nutritionist said it was because of the fact that I was only taking in fluids, plus I was mixing my protein drink with milk. It got better as I started on more solid foods. Good luck.

If it continues, you risk becoming dehydrated. I had it bad for the first several weeks, and I was on a Rx.

That exact thing happened to me. I think it has to do with the anestisia getting out of your body. It will go away! God Bless
