Question:
Anybody have anything to say about Dr. Scholten? or VanderKolk?

I visited with Scholten last week and will be scheduling surgery with him tomorrow but wonder if VanderKolk would be a better fit for me. I was not impressed with Scholten like I thought I would be and now I am hearing some bad things about him. Does anybody know anything?    — Diane S. (posted on September 29, 2003)

My surgery was in January 03 with Dr Scholten and I have never been anything but pleased with him. He has one of the best aftercare programs around. My primary doctor would not support me if I didn't go to Dr Scholten. I have not heard alot about his partner so I really don't have anything to compare to. Just wanted to let you know my experience with Scholten has been wonderful.

I had my surgery with Dr. Vanderkolk -- because I was throrughly impressed with him in my interview. Before meeting Vanderkolk, I had wondered if I should hold out a while and wait for Scholten -- but after I talked with him, I was sold on Vanderkolk. I still think it an excellent choice for me.
