I wish someone would answer this , as I am vegetarian and totally depend on
tofu and soy for most of my protein. Good Luck!!

Tofu is a great source of protein. I use both the firm (stir fried), and
soft (makes a great base for a protein smoothie, with a bit of yogurt, skim
milk, fruit and protein powder). Use it any way after surgery that you did
pre-op.

As far as types of protein, soy is not #1 - whey is, but a nutritionist
would be the one to ask the exact differences and if soy is good enough.

As a vegetarian, I enjoy tofu often. There's nothing as delicious as spicy
tofu at a chinese restaurant! Enjoy!

I eat stir-fried tofu with eggplant in garlic sauce once a week from Panda
Express. It's yummy & a great source of protein. I rely on my shakes
for most of my protein (whey) but this is a treat with added protein for
me.

we use extra-firm tofu just like you would pasta. you can slice it up into
pieced about the size of macaroni. we make it into baked ziti and mac and
cheese. you wouldn't know the differenc. the key is to bake til crusty on
top. enjoy!
