My surgeon showed me where my pouch is and that is not the spot. All
surgeons are different so everyones could be in a slighty different spot,
but not to far off I would think. Mine is maybe 4 inches further down and a
tad to the left. <p> I often get the same feeling you get. Sometimes
I know it is because I have eaten to fast or not chewed well enough. My
surgery was on 7/15 and twice I have vomited from not chewing well enough.
It is the WORST feeling in the world. We do not vomit like we used to but
it is still just as harsh as far as I am concerned. I also get that feeling
when I drink to fast, I always assumed it was a gas bubble. Good luck!!!!

I too have experienced a full feeling, knot or pressure beneath the
breastbone. I had a ascope and they found that it was an ulcer of all
things. I started prevacid 2 days ago (Dr ordered) and it went away. I
thought it was a stricture, SLD, or gallbladder. NOPE. Let your Dr know,
this is what he is here for....he can help *smile* GOOD LUCK oo and by the
way...even with the pressure I have lost 41 pounds since 07/23/03. woo hoo
